Kindergarten News for 11/9/09 through 11/13/09

This week we will continue working on the unit called "What's on the Menu?" We will be focusing on what you find a grocery store. If your child shops with you, ask them to help you write a list or to read signs as you shop. It can be a great learning opportunity. In math, we are continuing to work on counting by 1's and 10's, making models of numbers, and patterns. Second Quarter Community Service Project Update - We have collected 36 items of food for the Community Food Bank. Thank you for all the donations! If you are able, please provide a healthy snack during the week that your child's name is listed. There are 14 students in our class. The snack schedule is included with your child's homework.
