Kindergarten News for January 19th-22nd

We are continuing to work on the unit called "Winter Weatherland". We are reading are second Shared Story and it will come home next week. Please continue to read The Wet Dog with your child at home. Questions to discuss are included with the daily homework assignments. In math, we are learning about tally marks and equivalent forms for numbers. We will have our 100th Day Celebration on Thursday, January 21st. This is when your child will present their 100th Day Project. Fieldtrip to Colossal Cave - January 22nd - Please have your child at school by 8:00 a.m. Important Notice - Please make sure your child attends school daily and on time. Thursday

  • Read to or with your child for 10-15 minutes.
  • Complete the "Patterns Worksheet" and number practice page 12.
  • Have your child read The Wet Dog (provide assistance if needed) and discuss question - What was the problem in this story?
