Kindergarten News for January 4th - 8th

I hope you had a wonderful Winter Break. We are starting a new united called "Winter Weatherland" this week. We will be learning about weather and the season of winter. We will also begin to read Shared Stories. Your child will bring home the first story next week. Our Second Quarter Community Service Project was a big success. We exceeded our goal of 100 items of food. Thank you for all the donations! Please make sure your child comes to school daily and arrives on time. We still have a lot to learn in kindergarten and having students in school daily will help accomplish this goal. Thank you for your support! Homework Monday 1. Read to or with your child for 10-15 minutes. 2. Complete math page "Match the Numbers". 3. Read "My Sentence Book 3" with your child. Tuesday 1. Read to or with your child for 10-15 minutes. 2. Complete "Making 11" Math Home Link. 3. Practice reading flashcard words - a, he, I, is, my, me, the, we & no. Wednesday 1. Read to or with your child for 10-15 minutes. 2. Tell your parents the story The Sun and the North Wind using the little book you made. 3. Begin working on the "100th Day Project" with your child. Thursday 1. Read to or with your child for 10-15 minutes. 2. Complete "Making 12" Math Home Link. 3. Practice reading flashcards words - a, he, I, is, my, me, the, we & no. Friday No homework!
