Kindergarten News for February 8th-12th

We are starting a new unit called "Words & Roads Take Us Places". This week, we will focus on various forms of communication & that people can communicate in many ways. In math, we will learn about money (pennies & nickels), 2 & 3 dimensional shapes, & counting to measure time. We will have a Valentine's Day celebration on Friday, February 12th. Please use the snack schedule on the homework sheet for a Valentine's name list. Students will exchange valentines with classmates and have a celebration at the end of the day. Students can bring in snacks to share for the celebration. Important Days to Remember - February 15th-19th - Love of Reading Week, February 25th-26th - Rodeo Vacation - No School
